Assorted Garbage!

A clear sign the apocalypse is upon us - Halloween costumes for your pets.

The recent elections showed how important the economy will be. Despite the blatherings from the administration about the recession being over voters think not. 2010 will be change once again if unemployment is hovering around 10%. Real unemployment/underemployment is now at 17.5%.

Amazing how many CFO bloggers have their own private invitation only requirements. Can’t control the debate your run and hide and whine like a spoiled child not getting a candy bar. I guess when the going gets tough you hide in a secret room or have everyone register.

“Mumbles” Menino won for mayor of Boston - probably because after five elections he’s shaken the hand of every voter at least once.

The Middleboro BOS is clarking around with retirees. There is one thing a politician does not mess with and that is seniors. They have time on their hands, are organized, vote, and will put pressure on family members.

Health care for illegal aliens? Many legals cannot get adequate coverage.

Those NWA pilots were asleep. Playing on their scheduling computer? No clarking way!

Rhode Island School Of Design has a great museum.

Bumpkin will be at the Flat Iron for 11/21 and this will be as exciting as an appointment at a proctologist or dentist for a root canal. No…seriously….go!

The Flat Iron has an almost weekly influx of folk music and the one thing I don’t understand is why they all dress like bums. I mean I dress like a bum so I know it when I see it. Usually scruffy hair or beard go with it - ladies excluded on the beard. Torn jeans and a flannel shirt. Rock musicians are the same way. Back in the day remember when they wore suits and ties? I think the late Robert Palmer was the last one I saw that had on a suit.

I’ve always considered ties plain stupid. What is their purpose? Really none but decoration. I did some research at the Clark Library and it looks like it was the end result of a war. A heroic regiment had some colorful kerchiefs around their neck and it eventually ended up with ties. Like I saw once how intelligent is it to start the day with a noose around your neck?

Blogger Shark (AKA-BS). Am I allowed to register for your site? Will I be approved? Is this like a credit card where I get this stuff that says congratulations you have been pre-approved?

My wife just spend more money to alter another feral cat that resides in our backyard. This brings the total to four and there are now seven cats. Since this is a public forum I will resist as best I can what my “humane” solution would be.

What did you think of that drunk woman at north station almost getting blasted out of her shoes?

Falling in train tracks, touching 3rd rails and seeing a train coming at you.. Some might call that one hell of a night...

She is going to find some excellent lawyer and sue the T for something.. You watch...

Suo Mynona said...

She had probably just left a casino

OK! question of the day... I might need Bumpkins input on this very technical computer question..

Is it OK to go around poking people on facebook?

I want to poke some people, Is it cool to poke people you don't know?

Like if I poked Bumps at 6am would he get really mad?

I really want to poke someone and give them a gift..

LOL! love facebook...

anonymous said...

Wow! a little research on poking its no joke. People can actually go to jail for poking one another.

OK anyone wants to get poked they will have to request a poke from me first.. Then I'll send those gifts.

Poke and go to jail

More assorted mindless garbage.. Funny though..

When you go searching friends on facebook you find peoples pages with anywhere from 3-9 friends.

This guy has only one friend..

Comical

Why is that?

That gal should get a real sharp lawyer....too bad it was not a drunk dog as I could find just the person.

I have only so much space its a 1 page website 3-4 picures takes all my space up.. So I delete things so I can add more content..

But some will tell you its all about them OK! let them think that.

Its not like blogger.com where it seems you just have unlimited space here.. thats why I started a blog on google.

My MC site wants you to add pages and a hosting fee.. naw! 1 page does just fine..

PS I got an e mail he was PO It was a dude..

So yes you can say I was asked again LOL!

This in from SeƱor Bumpkin regarding his "world tour"

"The Flat Iron has asked for an attendance estimate so please let me know if you plan on coming – but don’t be afraid to show up if you decide to come at the last minute."

Count me in BB. (do you read this blog?) I am your number one fan LMCAO. Bogo and I are working on the tee shirts. Do we get backstage passes? I wonder if he can be paid in beers like the Blues Brothers.

Anyways, I love the flat Iron pizza.

If you care to pre-register here is the link:

Since you are a "Power Broker" reserve a table for my wife (The Lovely Cynthia) and myself. You and I should sit together but a concern will be like it is with the President and VP being togther. I think we can risk it.

Bumpkin is probably down to a 2X in the shirt size.

I saw the roadies checking out the Flat Iron tonight. We'll have to find out when he's doing a sound check so we can cut some tapes for underground sales.

I hope BB has a bread jar set up. Maybe Suo can stuff a hundred one's in it.

LOL Limo.....I knew you would get a call on that one. You need a stealth site like BS.

I agree, anon, on the AB blog.

Wife and Daughter off to see Fiddler On The Roof in Boston. I hated that show. Not as bad - to me - as Lion King but close.

bogofree said...

Anon....nothing is planned that would publicly embarrass Suo, myself or BB since we do that enough with the blogs.

I will cheer him on since I have zero musical talent or ability. Bumpkin can screech and play totally off key and it would be a hundred times better than anything I'd be capable of. I've heard him play before with a group and it's not bad. Maybe Jessie will be there and they can do a duet of Last Train To Clarksville.

I hope that those who know him will come by the Flat Iron and show support for this gig, have a few drinks and a few appetizers or a meal. I’m cashing in soda cans at the Village Market in preparation. I’ll stop by and pick up Drive-By but I’ll have him deloused first. The Flat Iron also is going to have some shark kabobs that I have supplied them with since we recently had quite a shark kill. I was going to make a necklace from the shark teeth but this shark was toothless.

When I think of BB singing I want to hear.."No More Drama"... In a very high pitch..

By Mary J Blige..
No More Drama - Mary J. Blige

(talkin')
So tired
Tired of all this drama
You go your way
I go my way (no more, no more)

So tired
Tired of all this drama
Yeah

(singin')
Broken heart again
Another lesson learned
Better know your friends
Or else you will get burned
Gotta count on me
Cuz I can guarantee that I'll be fine

No more pain (no more pain)
No more pain (no more pain)
No drama (no more drama in my life, no ones gonna make me hurt again)
No more in my life

Why'd I play the fool
Go through ups and downs
Knowing all the time
You wouldn’t be around
Or maybe I liked the stress
Cuz I was young and restless
But that was long ago
I don’t wanna cry no more

No more pain (no more pain x2 )
No more game (no more games messing with my mind)
No drama (no more drama in my life, no ones gonna make me hurt again, no more)
No more in my life

No more tears (no more tears, I'm tired of crying every night)
No more fears (no more fears I really don’t wanna cry)
No drama (no more drama in my life I don’t ever wanna hurt again)
No more in my life
Wanna speak ma mind wanna speak ma mind

Hooh it feels so good
When you let go
Of all the drama in your life
Now you're free from all the pain (free from all the pain)
Free from all the games (free from all the games)
Free from all the stress (free from all the stress)
So find your happiness

I don’t know
Only god knows where the story ends for me
But I know where the story begins
It’s up to us to choose
Whether we win or lose
And I choose to win
Ohhhh...

No more pain (no more pain, no more pain, tired of crying)
No more game (tired of your planning games with my mind)
No drama (no more drama in my life)
No more in my life (no more x6)

No more tears (No more tears, no more crying every night)
No more fears (No more waking, be up in the morning)
No drama (leave me alone, go ahead)
No more in my life (hey yeah)

No more pain (no more)
No more games (no more games, I’m tired, I’m so tired)
No drama (No more x6)
No more in my life
No more

No more drama (I’m tired of all this drama)
No more drama (go ahead, go ahead, you demons getting out of my face)
No more drama (go get a my life, I'm about to lose my mind)
No more drama (help me, help me sing)

No more drama (no more drama, no more, no more)
No more drama (yeah)
No more drama (no, no more)
No more drama (help me sing, I need a piece of mine 3x)

No more drama (yeah all I need, hide but nicely I need to know that you are free)
No more drama

Oh no x2
No more x2
No more drama x2
In my, in my... life

So tired (I'm so tired)
Tired of all this drama

Well,Suo, this is just my opinion about Afghanistan, but either Obama gives our troops the support to do things right.....ground/air and enough support to enable the Afghan troops to stand on their own----or he pulls us out. With the renewed strength of the Taliban halway measures just won't cut it. If he only sends in 40,000 instead of the number asked for by the generals over there, that will only prolong the war and mean many more than necessary American casualties.

I would like nothing better than to see the United States removal itself from the Afgan situation. This is a situation where even a "victory" is not really so but I am amazed by the actions of the ultra moonbat crowd and some of the downright bizarre actions they take.

The country has these little festering boils that Amherst, Cambridge and Berkley (CA) are so representative of. IMO it is simply that they hate this country and everything about it but not enough to take full advantage of the protections it offers. I remember a few years back when the Dukakis administration tried to put as many roadblocks as possible in place to protect assorted illegals. Isn’t Cambridge today some type of sanctuary city ?

Anon. My understanding is that males can be groupies of other males although the primary ones seems to be females. Who bestow sexual favors on their targets. I will pass on that. I remember that guy who use to go through Bob Dylan's trash all the time. Extreme groupie to me. By the way BB does recycle and I noticed that going through his trash.

The saddest thing was years ago I use to run at Wompatuck State Park and every year the Deadheads would camp there when the Grateful Dead played locally. You would see people my age (50s) selling all sorts of crap to earn money for gas and camping. What a waste.

Suo that was an interesting quote by Lamar Smith. As you know I spend considerable time in Texas and his district is in an area I visit once or twice a year. I also believe that the LBJ ranch is in his district as is Johnson City. Of course Smith is a conservative Republican.
